The Orbiter 270 superflat 6.0 is a mobile and modular low profile camera seat system in it’s sixth product generation. It has been designed for all low shooting camera positions at outdoor broadcasts such as soccer, tennis or athletics and for studio use. It helps to capture great shots while working in difficult locations with ease and comfort.

At soccer matches it is used at all low shooting cameras close to the pitch. At tennis broadcasts it comes in handy if positioned close to the net and at athletics it is often used at the end of jump discipline areas, but has proved its efficiency also at competitions in bobsleigh, figure skating, classic concerts and many more since 2001.

The Orbiter 270 superflat is the economic version of the Orbiter 500 superflat and was designed to match the needs of those customers, looking for a more cost efficient solution.

As all Orbiter camera seats this model allows independent movement of camera and seat, along the same axis and pans over 270° at a very low level and reducing disturbances due to its central cable feeding.

The most remarkable and patented feature of this system is that contrary to other cameraseat systems, the seat of the Orbiter is not directly connected to the camera mount. Almost no shock motion is transmitted from the operator to the camera as the camera mount is not loaded by the operator‘s weight. The unlinked rotation along the same axis also avoids unwanted movement of the camera when moving the seat.

The new Orbiter 270 superflat comes with a sealed high precision bearing facilitating smooth, steady and noiseless operation and accommodates all tripod heads. Combined with an adjustable friction it allows perfect panning coming close to the characteristics of fluid heads.

Comprehensive testing proved high durability even under extreme conditions in terms of temperature and mechanical impact. Maintenance is reduced to almost zero.

Take advantage of the comfortable and softrunning Orbiter to create excellent and dynamic shots without obstructing the views of spectators, referees and coaches.
